One India brings Siddhartha students together

Students pursuing education under various institutions of Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education (SAGTE) had come together to celebrate ‘One India’, a cultural and traditional amalgamation of events on Monday. The campus of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College saw the celebration come to life with scores of people witnessing it.

The event, which coincided with presentation of Chukkapalli Pitchaiah Memorial Best teacher and Best Student Awards, had some of the best presentations on culture, customs and traditions of the diversified country. Special dance performances representing each State’s versatility, folk art forms like instruments and Karrasamu were performed.

Students of the Schools, undergraduate arts college, Pharmacy College, medical and engineering colleges have taken part in the programme and displayed each segment of the rich culture.

Color show, Kuchupudi dance for western music, Temples show, balancing dance acts and others marked the event, which was co-organised by the cultural wing of the Siddhartha group called Siddhartha Kalapeetham. Management of the SAGTE, Siddhartha Kalapeetham, faculty and teachers from the respective institutions, parents and students were present.
