But the present rulers were not following any rules and they were dishonouring the Constitution,
he alleged.After unfurling the national flag at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday on the occasion of 67th Republic Day celebrations, Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that rulers of the State and the Centre were showing negligent attitude towards University of Hyderabad (UoH),

though a Dalit scholar, Rohith Vemula, committed suicide unable to bear the caste discrimination.Giving a call to the Congress activists to wage a movement to protect the Constitution, Uttam said that there was a need to fight against anti-constitutional activities of the present rulers.

He also gave a call to the Congress activists to strive for the defeat of BJP and TRS candidates in the GHMC elections.
