Devarapalli honoured with Madhavapeddi Award
Kalamanjari cultural and social organisation and Kocharlakota Charitable Trust jointly organised a music and dance programme at Velidandla Hanumantharaya Library in the city on Tuesday in memory of the legendary playback singer Madhavapeddi Satyam.

Devarapalli Prakasa Rao was honoured with the Madhavapeddi Satyam Award on the occasion.
Later, Gudipati Harikrishna, Pithapuram Prakasa Rao, Goli Sri Krishnadevarayalu, Hemamalini and KL Keerthana rendered about 25 hit songs of Madhavapeddi and Pithapuram Nageswara Rao. D Veerabhadra Rao, Elisha, Chitti Babu, Israel and Tagore lent instrumental support to the music programme.
Kuchimanchi Subrahmanyam, Golla Narayana Rao, Ch Jagadeesh, Prabhala Srinivas, Naraharisetti Srihari, Vemuri Nageswara Rao and PVL Nrusimham participated in the award presentation function.
