Hyderabad: A stroke-filled 53 by Rohan B and a menacing 4/13 spell by Rajat were the highlights of a resounding 104-run posted by Electronics Warriors over Seta Risers in the finals of the Finecab Cricket League (FCL) conducted under the joint aegis of Secunderabad Electrical Trade Association (SETA) and Freedom Events at the host’s cricket ground in Kompally on Tuesday.

Into its 15th year, the annual feature for member teams was sponsored by Brijgopal Bhutada Md Finecab Wires & Cables. Held amid a holiday atmosphere that had substantial glamour quotient, the championship clash brought an anti-climatic end to the eight-team FCL with the eventual champion taking home the coveted trophy in a completely lop-sided affair.

After making an imposing 168 for seven wickets, on being asked to bat first, the Warriors dismissed the opponents for a paltry 64. Actress Jyothi Sethi formally inaugurated the finals by taking strike and also hurling the ball. Later, she gave away the prizes.

Brief scores-Final: Electronics Warriors 168 for seven wickets (Rohan B 53, Nitin Jain 32, Nitin M 30, Shivam 2/26, Prem 2/28) bt Seta Risers 64 (Rajat 4/13, Damador 3/15).
