Hyderabad: In a decision that is bound to add overwhelming spice to the excitement, players from Services Sports Controlled Board (SSCB) have been given the green signal to parade their talent in the third edition of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) that will get going on Saturday.

A decision to this effect was taken by representatives from SSCB and Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) at Jaipur on Friday. The clearance has been so well lapped up that six of the eight franchisees between them roped in 12 robustly built players from Services into their respective outfits in the open draw that was held almost immediately after the meeting.

No team was allowed to take in more than two players. Telugu Titans hired Sanju and Virender. Open draw recruits: Surjeet Singh, Anil Kumar (Dabang Delhi KC); Somvir, Nirbhay Narwal (Bengaluru Bulls); Surjeet, Mahendra Singh Dhaka (Puneri Paltan); Nitin Tomar, Manjeet (Bengal Warriors); Darshan, Parmod (Patna Pirates); Sanju, Virender (Telugu Titans).
