Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today condoled the demise of former Army Chief and former Lieutenant Governor, General KV Krishna Rao. He died in a Delhi hospital on Saturday. He was 93.
The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. The Chief Minister, in a press release, said that the former Governor was one of the great army generals to serve the country and conveyed his condolences to the General’s family members.
In another release, the Chief Minister condoled the death of renowned academic Nayani Krishnakumari. He recalled that Krishnakumari was a pioneer in folklore studies and women literature.
