TRS MP K Kavitha Saturday accused Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu of trying to spew venom among the people of Hyderabad to get votes in the forthcoming GHMC polls. Hyderabad: TRS MP K Kavitha Saturday accused Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu of trying to spew venom among the people of Hyderabad to get votes in the forthcoming GHMC polls. Talking to media persons at Parade Grounds after inspecting the preparation works for a public meeting of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Kavitha said the TDP chief was trying to woo the voters in the name of development, but, it won’t help the party.
“He talks about developing Hitec city, but he never cared to bother about slums and the poor in the city,” she charged. The MP also admonished TD leader Nara Lokesh for his “vicious” campaign against the TRS government. When questioned about the incident of Rohit’s death in the University of Hyderabad, she said the incident was unfortunate and TRS would speak about it once the GHMC polls over, if necessary.
