The department of Commerce, Kakaraparthi Bhavanarayana (KBN) College is going to organise an international seminar on ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives for Inclusive and Sustainable Development’ on February 20th and 21st.

The department of Commerce, Kakaraparthi Bhavanarayana (KBN) College is going to organise an international seminar on ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives for Inclusive and Sustainable Development’ on February 20th and 21st. A poster and brochure of the event was released at the College’s office by SKPVV Hindu High School’s general secretary Gopisetty Mallaiah in Kothapet.

Speaking about the seminar, College’s president Uppalapati Sambasiva Rao said that the seminar will be organised from the funds sanctioned from UGC to commemorate the College’s golden jubilee year. The seminar aims at documenting and analysing the CSR initiatives taken up by the public and private companies for the sustainable development.

Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu will participate in the seminar along with other ministers and MLAs, he said. Correspondent Razath Kumar, seminar convener and vice principal V Narayana Rao, Joint secretary of SKPVV Hindu High Schools Rajeswara Rao, principal of the College P Krishnamoorthy, PG Centre director V Ramanamurthy, faculty of the department of Commerce and others were present.
