Playing under the name ‘Under Cover’, the group consists of six people Nikhil Madari(vocalist), Kaushal Dasari( bass guitarist), Dheeraj Dhall(rhythm guitarist ), Pradhyum(lead guitarist) , Paul Nunavath(guitarist) and Josh (drummer).

They performed their own compositions and covers including a few familiar numbers like man in the box, I stay away, angry chair, rain when I die , paradise, A sky full of stars , knock me down and behind the sun. The crowed enjoyed the beats and tunes that were performed.

Hailing from Hyderabad, Under Cover has been active since 2010. The band has performed at different clubs across the city but Nikhil rues that they have not yet been able to travel and take their music to other parts of the country. “Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to travel. But we have been actively playing in the city for the past few years and if an opportunity arises, we would love to go to other cities as well,” said Nikhil the vocalist.

Having performed in the city for over three years now, the vocalist is happy with the Hyderabadi audience but feels that the city has a long way to go as far as music is concerned. “The city has got a very good audience who look forward to live performances.

However, we are yet to match up to the music scene in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Having said that, the overall experience of performing in Hyderabad has been amazing and that is mainly because of the crowds and their acceptance of our music,” added Nikhil.
