AP veterans TT tourney on Feb 7
Ravi Kumar said that the events will be held in men’s singles in 40, 50, 60, 65, and 70 plus categories and, 40 and 50 plus in women segments. Doubles events will be held in 40 and 50 plus segments.
“The Andhra Pradesh State veterans’ table tennis tournament sponsored by Futureall will be held at the PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science College, Indoor Stadium on February 7,” said the organizing committee president Chinta Ravi Kumar here on Wednesday.
Ravi Kumar said that the events will be held in men’s singles in 40, 50, 60, 65, and 70 plus categories and, 40 and 50 plus in women segments. Doubles events will be held in 40 and 50 plus segments.
The tournament will be conducted as per the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) rules and on the knockout basis. The tourney will be held on best of five games.
The selected players in the tournament will represent the State at 23rd National Veteran Table Tennis Championship scheduled to be held at Chandigarh from February 27 to March 2, he added.
