Asus Transformer Book T100HA launched

Asus has announced the launch of its transformer Book T100HA tablet hybrid with Windows 10. Asus Transformer Book T100HA builds on the success of Transformer Book T100TA.

The Asus Tranformer Book T100HA is a 2-in-1 convertible that offers mainstream Windows 10 features like Cortana, Continuum and Microsoft Office Mobile. The Asus Transformer Book T100HA comes with a 10.1-inch display and weighs just 1.03Kgs.

Under the hood, the tablet hybrid is powered by Intel’s quad-core Atom Z8500 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Asus Transformer Book T100HA also sports a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The 5-megapixel camera is also capable of 720p video recording. The Asus tablet hybrid also features 802.11agn wireless support and Bluetooth 4.0 with dual band support. There is also support for expandable storage via SDXC card slot.

On the connectivity front, there is one USB 2.0 slot, one USB 3.1 Type C port like Apple’s 12-inch Macbook and 1 Micro USB 2.0 slot. It also comes with one micro HDMI slot and headphone jack.

The Asus Transformer Book T100HA also has built-in speakers and built-in array microphone whose performance can be judged only after test. The Asus Tranformer Book T100HA weighs 0.70Kg without battery and 1Kg with its 2-cell battery. It also comes with full-size chiclet keyboard and is priced attractively at Rs 23,990.
