Water supply to be hit on Saturday
The citizens of the twin-cities will have to brace up and keep stock of water as there will be no water supply to over 37 areas for 12 hours from 8 am on Saturday. Water supply is being shutdown due to junction work to the existing  1800 mm dia MS pipe line at Ghanpur reservoir under Godavari Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-I.

The areas affected include Erragadda, Yellareddyguda, Vengal Rao Nagar, Yousufguda, Somajiguda, Venkatagiri, Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, Borabanda, SPR hills areas, Sanath Nagar, Prakash Nagar areas, Kukatpally, KPHB, Bala Nagar, Bhagya Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Yellamma banda, Moosapet, Hasmathpet,
Hydernagar, and Nizampet areas, Allwyn Colony, Jagadgiri gutta, Adarsh Nagar, Shapur Nagar, Rodamestry Nagar, HMT Colony, Sooraram, Chinthal, Jeddimetla, Subash Nagar areas, Hafeezpet, Chandanagar, Miyapur, RC puram, Ashok Nagar, Bollaram, Sheriligampally, and Madhapur areas. HMWSSB requested the consumers to use water judiciously to avoid inconvenience.
