Cultural mania took centre stage at the second day of the ongoing annual fest of GITAM University titled, ‘Pramana 2K16’ being held at its premises in Rudraram on Friday. The day started off with film fare, a short film festival. It was followed by dance and music studio, graffiti, Lan gaming, Rubix Cube and Treasure hunt.

The day started off with film fare, a short film festival. It was followed by dance and music studio, graffiti, Lan gaming, Rubix Cube and Treasure hunt.
A number of activities like mime, western dance, western solo and skit were performed by the students. These were followed by the crowd pulling events ‘Battle of bands’ and ‘Ramp walk’- the fashion show that drove the audience wild with the display of trendy fashion, great music and fun.
As part of the festival, a number of competitions like debate, Bulls and Bears, B-Quiz and B-Plan were also organised. About 5,000 students from colleges around the twin cities were present on the second day, which was graced by the Secretary of Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, RS Praveen Kumar.The fest will conclude by Saturday evening.
