Hyderabad: Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Thursday met Chief Advisor to Union Ministry of Water Resources B N Navalawala and Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) Member Secretary RK Gupta here in the Secretariat.
The Minister explained to the officials the status of Mission Kakatiya programme taken up for the revival of abandoned water bodies in the villages. He also gave a presentation on the progress in the construction of new and pending irrigation projects and apprised him about the new projects.
Special Chief Secretary (irrigation ) SK Joshi, State Advisor (Irrigation) R Vidyasagar Rao and OSD to Minister Sridhar Deshpande were also present during the one hour long meeting.
