ICRISAT mourns Sahrawat’s demise

​Hyderabad: Dr Kanwar Lal Sahrawat, an internationally renowned soil scientist and a scientist at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), has passed away here on Wednesday.

The demise of Dr. Sahrawat, who was a warm and hard-working human being and an inspiration to many young scientists, has shocked and deeply saddened his colleagues and the community of the ICRISAT, said a press note from the Institute.
