The ‘Gala Nite’ organised by the Institute of Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), Hyderabad Regional Chapter was held at N Convention Centre in Madhapur recently.

The event, which was held as part of the 20th anniversary of the IIID, Hyderabad Chapter, was a glitzy evening which featured the felicitation of all the past Chairpersons of the Hyderabad Chapter and the presentation of awards and appreciation to exhibitors and the support teams for the InsiderX expo.

IIID President Pratap Jadhav, members of the national executive and chairpersons from across the country who made it to the Hyderabad event were overwhelmed by the scale and magnitude of the InsiderX Design showcase. The evening also saw a high powered performance by Bollywood and Oriya film industry playback singer Krishna Beura.

Speaking at the event, Chairperson, Sona Chatwani said, “As thoughtful leaders of the Interior Design fraternity, we are seeking to engage the different verticals of the Design industry.” In other events, the Chapter introduced a novel platform called I-5 where five Chapter members presented their work in 15 minute capsules.

An early morning Heritage Walk through Charminar and Old City followed by a drive through the emerging Gachibowli and Hitec City taking in the new architectural landmarks of the city; both events were presented by leading Hyderabadi architects, Ar. Yeshwant Ramamurthy and Ar. Manoj Wahi.
