The parents of students at the Open Minds School have been the most supportive ones, who came forward and volunteered to help in organising the games and events over the week at the inter-school gaming event, ‘Muddy Soles’ at Kollur.

On the concluding day of the event, a team of parents came out against a team of teachers in a friendly 12-over cricket match. The response was so overwhelming from parents that two teams had to be formed, with each team playing six overs with the staff of Open Minds.

The toss was won by the Parents Team, who chose to field. The first innings had the staff of Open Minds closing at 135 Runs losing two wickets. The parents tried hard however, couldn’t make it and the Staff won by 30 runs.

“This is just the beginning. The School is positive about taking this legacy ahead,” said Principal of Open Minda, Swapnali Deore. The winners were presented the trophy, and all the participant parents were given a token of appreciation from the school.
