TNREDCL earmarks 57 lakh for renewable energy

Mahbubnagar: The Telangana New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd. (TNREDCL) has earmarked Rs 57.13 lakh for the development of renewable energy and environment conservation in Mahbubnagar district for the year 2015-16.
The corporation is presently working on sensitizing the people to reduce the usage of wood as a cooking fuel and use biogas, solar power, and smokeless chulhas instead, informed Abdul Vaheed, TNREDCL Field Officer for Mahbubnagar. In this regard, the TNEDCL is planning to organize a workshop and exhibition on 10th February at the ZP grounds in the district headquarters.
