As many as 14 Australian institutions took part in the IDP Education India organised Australian Education fair at Hotel Taj Gateway in the city on Monday.

As many as 14 Australian institutions took part in the IDP Education India organised Australian Education fair at Hotel Taj Gateway in the city on Monday. The students’ responded well and sought to know about the institutions. Almost 500 aspirants visited the fair in which 14 Australian universities participated.

The University of Western Australia, University of South Australia, Study Perth, Edith Cowan University and La Trobe University were some of the universities present at the fair. Some of them also offered scholarships and on-the-spot admissions “The process was pretty smooth.

I was asked to mention the courses of my interest and was directed to three universities that fare the best in it. “I did not have to go through details of all the Universities online and do extensive research. All my doubts and concerns were clarified,” said Deepak Jain, a final-year student who visited the fair to explore options.

“I am considering Australia for my daughter's higher education since it is economical and the weather is moderate throughout the year,” said N Venkateswara Reddy the parent of a candidate.

Piyush Kumar, Country Director, India - IDP Education said “36 Australian institutions were participating in the fair across India. “This education fair offers the students an opportunity to interact with the university representatives directly and facilitates exchange of information,” he concluded.
