Hyderabad: Telangana Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy has been given an additional portfolio of Scheduled Castes Development and Cooperation here on Tuesday. So far, this portfolio was under the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao since the formation of his government in June 2014.
According to the sources, the minister was instructed to hold meetings with the officials of the SC development department to finalise the proposals for SC sub-plan in the 2016-17 budget and also submit a detailed report on the utilisation of funds earmarked under the sub-plan in 2015-16 financial year.
