Hyderabad: Appreciating Bala Vikasa, a voluntary organisation, for its yeoman services towards poor and deprived classes for a long time, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao Tuesday offered to extend all help to it from the government.

He was participating at the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Bala Vikasa at LB Stadium here, attended by Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister observed that the Bala Vikasa centre is like a ‘Brahmastra’ for the poor classes and it should go ahead with its mission to root out social stigma and grief among people and provide succour to the needy.

KCR noted that Mahatmas used to born when there is grief and sorrow in the society. Indeed, the State government feels it great and proud to see Bala Theresa couple for serving the people with over 15,000 Self Help Groups of the voluntary organisation statewide.

Asking the youth to avoid wasting time, KCR said that one can overcome difficult times with determination and grit. He stressed the need for creating awareness among the people on synergy which proves handy to overcome the problems. However there is no system to unite such energies together, he felt.
