The Tata Group has joined as official partner in the Telangana government’s prestigious 2-Bedroom (2BHK) housing scheme launched for the poor in the state recently. Tata Group Chairman Cyrus P Mistry informed Telangana Panchayat Raj, IT and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao that the Tata Housing Projects would take part in the TS government’s giant task.

Hyderabad: The Tata Group has joined as official partner in the Telangana government’s prestigious 2-Bedroom (2BHK) housing scheme launched for the poor in the state recently. Tata Group Chairman Cyrus P Mistry informed Telangana Panchayat Raj, IT and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao that the Tata Housing Projects would take part in the TS government’s giant task.

As part of one-day official visit to Mumbai, KTR on Monday called on Mistry and also Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani. In the separate meetings with the heads of the two major companies, the minister explained the initiatives taken up by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the areas of Information Technology (IT), housing and other areas.

Mistry also came forward to set up a Tata- AIG Technology Development Centre in the city. The centre will extend help to T-Hub Innovation Fund establishment to promote start- up industries in Hyderabad. The minister explained the merits and the advantages of the new industrial policy for the investors who are keen to set up their establishments in the state.

Ambani told KTR that Reliance would come out with a plan to set up industries and investments in different sectors.
