Bringing beauty to doorsteps
In the age of convenience where everything from clothes to groceries are delivered home, why not beauty services? And so, came up ‘Krasna’. The idea brewed over a cup of coffee when Priyanka, a post-graduate from Manchester Business School (UK) discussed with her husband the overwhelming need for such a service in India.
Krasna is a first-of-its-kind on demand beauty service run by women that caters to the beauty needs for women and sends beauticians to your home

The idea brewed over a cup of coffee when Priyanka, a post-graduate from Manchester Business School (UK) discussed with her husband the overwhelming need for such a service in India.
As part of the launch a demo makeup session was held by makeup artistes at Krasna in Hyderabad on Thursday. The startup venture provides on demand beauty services at home. Speaking at the launch, Priyanka said, “Krasna, the word, has its origins in Slavic languages, which translates to “beautiful”.
When we launched our service, we were quite determined to bring beauty to every home in Hyderabad in the next one year and launch in four major metros in the next two years.” Elaborating on their process, she said, “With more than 100 beauticians under our wings, Krasna uses a business portal, which connects customers to our beauticians.
Every order received is screened for authenticity ensuring safety for our beauticians and a mobile app especially created for our beauticians helps them take a call on if they want to take the order or not.” “Our weekdays are filled with orders from homemakers with children who cannot leave them and visit a beauty parlour, women getting together for pamper parties and kitty parties and elderly women who prefer the comfort of their home for convenience.
Weekends see stead orders from the working women who work throughout the week and prefer to use our convenient service rather than spend their precious weekends waiting for their appointment,” she added.
Currently, the services are provided only for women in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kondapur, Begumpet and Secunderabad. However, Priyanka informed that they will be launching services in other areas of the city including services for men soon due to tremendous requests received.
