In city alone, about 1,500 shops were closed and the revenue loss on account of the bandh runs into hundreds of crores,” said Mohanlal Jain, Zonal Member-South, All India Gem & Jewellery Trade Federation and President, Pot Market Jewellers Association. He further said that the bandh call evoked huge response in the districts such as Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Warangal and others.
