Hyderabad: Expressing serious objection on the appointment of former Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad leader O Srinivas Reddy as member in the executive council of University of Hyderabad by the Centre, Rajya Sabha member and Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao alleged that ABVP was increasing its domination in the university.
Speaking at Assembly media point here on Wednesday, Hanumantha Rao warned the Centre that agitations would start in the university if it failed to take back its decision. It may be recalled that the Central government has appointed O Srinivas Reddy as a member of HCU executive council three days ago. Srinvas Reddy is presently the chairman of the Jagruthi Educational Institutions, Hyderabad.
