Hockey season begins today

Hockey Viziangaram, under the aegis of Hockey Andhra Pradesh, will be conducting DR PVG Raju 6th Andhra Pradesh Senior Men Inter-District hockey championship at Maharaja College Stadium Grounds here from February 12 to 14.Â
Vizianagaram: Hockey Viziangaram, under the aegis of Hockey Andhra Pradesh, will be conducting DR PVG Raju 6th Andhra Pradesh Senior Men Inter-District hockey championship at Maharaja College Stadium Grounds here from February 12 to 14.
All the 13 districts, including defending champion Chittor and last edition runner-up Visakhapatnam, will participate in the league-cum-knockout event. It is of significance as the State probables for the Senior men national championship to be held at Safai in Etawah will be selected here. District Collector M M Naik, will inaugurate the championship.
