New Delhi: Humera Shaikh of Telangana State advanced to the finals of the second edition of Rendez-Vous a Roland Garros in partnership with Longines here on Thursday.
Humera defeated Rishika Ravindran. Humera lost the first set 2-6, but made a comeback by winning the subsequent sets 6-2, 6-3 to win the match. Humera will meet second seed Mahak Jain of Madhya Pradesh in the title clash. Mahak defeated Akansha Bhan of Gujrat 7-5, 6-4, 6-3.
In the men's category, Adil Kalyanpur cruised to the finals by defeating Abhimanya Vannemreddy in straight sets. Adil won the match 6-1 6-3 to make it to the finals of the second edition.
