The students of KV No. 1 School along with scouts, guides and NCC cadets participated in a road rally show at Uppal cross roads and boosted the morale of people following road safety rules. They distributed sweets to people wearing helmet and seat belt, gave them flowers and requested the others to wear helmet, in the interest of their safety.

As part of the valedictory function of the ‘Road Safety’ week, prizes and certificates were given away for the varied competitions conducted viz. drawing, quiz, slogan writing and road signals. Principal J Rama Devi explained the activities undertaken during the week end and highlighted the significance of the road safety to be followed by all the road uses.

Sridhar Reddy, ACP, Traffic, Janaki Reddy, CI, Traffic, Sanjay Ram, Project Coordinator, Indian Development Foundation, Dr Geetanjali, Vice-President of Road Safety Club, Sreenivas, Professor, KITE Engineering College and Varun, Project developer, IDF, students, teachers and others attended the programme.
