The student group from GITAM School of International Business (GSIB) is visiting Colombo to study the port activities in Sri Lanka and the student group will also exclusively interact with Members of Chamber of Commerce, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The student group from GITAM School of International Business (GSIB) is visiting Colombo to study the port activities in Sri Lanka and the student group will also exclusively interact with Members of Chamber of Commerce, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
According to GSIB Director Prof.V.K.Kumar the School had initiated the international study tour program two years back and results are reflecting on academics. He said that the main aim of the visit is to give a scope to understand the international business environment and how the international ports are working with global competition.
The visit is coordinated by three faculy members Prof.R.Venkateswarlu, Dr.P.Promodkumar Mishra, Dr.S.Srilalitha. The student group also participates in academic discussion in Hiramani Garmbrits factory, Colombo University and University of Kelariya during the visit.
