Malkajgiri to get water supply on alternate days
There is some good news for the residents of Malkajgiri Municipal ward. Comprehensive Water Supply Services (CWSS) for Malkajgiri Municipal Circle have been undertaken under the TMDP World Bank Assistance programme. In all 39 wards would be covered.

The project is nearing completion and would be commissioned soon informed a senior official. The GHMC commissioner and HMWSS&B MD, Janardhan Reddy instructed officials to complete the works by September 2016.
A senior official said that action is required to synchronies the distribution lines and respective ELSR for progressive completion of scheme zone by zone and instructed for partial commissioning of the above scheme duly completing the reservoir and distribution network of Chanikayapuri, Sainikapuri, Defence colony and Vajpayee Nagar before May 2016.
The residents of Gowtham Nagar, Defence colony, Sainikpuri, Moulali, Vajpayee nager, Sainathpuram, Ananthaiah colony, Vivekanandapuram,Madhurnagar Military Colony, Officers Colony,Pullapalli Balaiah Yadav Nagar,
Anandbagh, Sardarpatel Nagar, Brindavan Colony, Hanumanpet, Jyothi Nagar and other areas in Malkagiri municipal limits would be benefitted. Presently there are 40,000 connections and 5,000 new connection would be allotted said an official.
