The Department of Commerce and Management, Kakarparti Bhavanaryana (KBN) College will organise a three-day international convention on ‘Corporate Companies Social Responsibility’ at its campus in One Town from February 19 to 21. A poster regarding the event was released by the College president U Sambaisva Rao and secretary SVSM Razith Kumar here on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference later, Sambasiva Rao said that three-day UGC sponsored international seminar was aimed to discuss the current trends of the company’s implementing service oriented activities under corporate social responsibility initiative. Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu and Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas will participate in the inaugural session.

Krishna University vice-chancellor N Ramakrishna Rao, registrar D Surya Chandra Rao, Dean of Disaster University, Kenya, Dr Ongaro Kennedy and other professors from across the country will take part in the event.

Eminent speakers from universities will deliver their key note address on February 20. Minister for Transport Sidda Raghava Rao will attend the valedictory session on Sunday, he said. College principal Dr P Krishna Murthy, vice principal V Narayana Rao, co-conveners Dr DV Ramana Murthy and Dr Bezwada Ramaiah were also present at the news conference.
