As a part of Swachh Medaram and Swachh Jatara, the Telangna State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) deployed 300 volunteers at Medaram on Tuesday. The information was given by T Radhika, Project officer, TSPCB who is coordinating the activities at Medaram Jatara.

As a part of Swachh Medaram and Swachh Jatara, the Telangna State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) deployed 300 volunteers at Medaram on Tuesday. The information was given by T Radhika, Project officer, TSPCB who is coordinating the activities at Medaram Jatara.

The volunteers will be involved in spreading the message of not to use the polyethylene bags, plastic glasses, plastic plates, spoons and other extraneous items.Of the 300 volunteers, 200 are from local teams in Medaram who have been continuously educating street vendors, hawkers and shopkeepers not to sell polythene bags.

Similar activities are being carried out in Warangal, Kazipet and Hanamkonda at the Jathara special bus stands.
