Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Wednesday asserted that it would abide by whatever directions are given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This comes in the wake of the recommendation of the Lodha Committee about which a final decision has to be taken by March 3.

The HCA will go with whatever is decided upon by the Board when it meets on Friday. Association President Arshad Ayub reassured that the affiliated institution clubs need not harbor ill-feelings of any kind as they would not be taking unilateral decisions. Nor would they scuttle the voting rights of the members.

He said that the HCA has not recommended any change with regard to Lodha Committee recommendations. Each and every member-club would be getting the full support of the Association. Ayub and Association Secretary John Manoj are both scheduled to attend the crucial SGM of the BCCI.
