Naidu asks TTDP unit to revive party on its own
TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu asked the TDP Telangana unit leaders to work out strategies to revive the party in Telangana. Naidu told the party leaders that though he wished he could spare more time for the party activities in Telangana, he was unable to do so in view of his preoccupation with development of the truncated Andhra Pradesh.

Vijayawada: TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu asked the TDP Telangana unit leaders to work out strategies to revive the party in Telangana. Naidu told the party leaders that though he wished he could spare more time for the party activities in Telangana, he was unable to do so in view of his preoccupation with development of the truncated Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, Naidu told them that they would have to overcome the crisis on their own and work independently. "I want you to grow independently. You all should acquire leadership skills. You should be able to draw strategies on your own to make the party bounce back," Naidu was quoted as saying in the meeting.
A delegation of Telangana TDP leaders, headed by party president L Ramana and working president A Revanth Reddy, called on their boss Naidu in Vijayawada on Wednesday. He, however, asked the party leaders not to get disheartened by the ongoing developments in the party in Telangana. "Some of the MLAs might have deserted us.
As cadre is solidly with us, MLAs' desertion will not have any impact on the party's prospects in the long run. All of you have to try to work towards strengthening the party in Telangana," Naidu told his party men. Sources said during the meeting, Naidu discussed strategies to stop exodus of leaders from the TDP to the ruling TRS in Telangana.
