As part of the global celebration of cultural and linguistic diversity, Naa Telugu Pustakalu and Nivasini Publications will be hosting a range of fun activities on International Mothers Day on February 21. Spearheaded by Challa Uma Gayathri and Nivedita,
As part of the global celebration of cultural and linguistic diversity, Naa Telugu Pustakalu and Nivasini Publications will be hosting a range of fun activities on International Mothers Day on February 21. Spearheaded by Challa Uma Gayathri and Nivedita, the events will be held at Raahgiri on Sunday to promote awareness about the importance of mother tongue, and to kindle love and appreciation of Telugu language among children.
This includes ‘acchaMgaa Telugu’, a fun take where participants have to speak complete Telugu sentences without using a single English word. Other activities include selfie zone with messages in Telugu, poster making and street chalk art depicting love for the mother language amongst others.
In addition to this, Nivasini Publications will be publishing thoughts, poems or verses in the mother language, for which the publication house has opened invitations. Interested people can mail the same at [email protected].
