Golden boy Soora Prashant was the architect of a fine eight-medal haul scripted by Telangana State in the National Muay Thai Federation Cup-2016 that concluded in Mumbai recently.
Golden boy Soora Prashant was the architect of a fine eight-medal haul scripted by Telangana State in the National Muay Thai Federation Cup-2016 that concluded in Mumbai recently.
It was an impressive showing considering that the State fielded 13 athletes who did well when pitted against 250 best of the lot from across 25 States. Coach MI Naveed was on a noticeable high, which he said proved that the boys were raring to go in the future events.
In addition to the gold, the medal tally was boosted by the performances of Sunil Chib and Irfan Ali who bagged a silver each and Md Nizamuddin, R Naveen, B Charan, Irfan Bin Amir and Imtiaz, who brought home bronze medals. The State Muay Thai Association is to felicitate the team members in a couple of days.
