Women bring the hacking wow
Breaking stereotypes of the tech world, specifically of the hacking domain being a male dominated area, women hackers shined at the ‘Hacker in Her’ challenge that was held in the city on Monday.
The dream for Digital India is incomplete without participation of women. In order to highlight the very same thought, ‘Hacker in Her’ was held in the city that brought out the talent of numerous female techies
Breaking stereotypes of the tech world, specifically of the hacking domain being a male dominated area, women hackers shined at the ‘Hacker in Her’ challenge that was held in the city on Monday.
Organised by Pegasystems India, this was the first women’s tech hiring challenge that aimed to reach at the pool of women techies by offering a platform to showcase their skills.
The day-long hiring challenge had enthusiastic participation from over 25 women coders. Through this exclusive woman centric talent outreach program, Pegasystems aims to enable the women developer community and motivate them to join the company’s existing 1000+ strong workforce.
Speaking on the occasion, Suman Reddy, MD Pegasystems India said, “Fostering diversity at the workplace and enabling women in tech are among our top objectives at Pega India.
Through initiatives such as these, we want to reach out to best women coders in Hyderabad and encourage them to join us in building great software and being a part of a collaborative global team.”
