Workshop on Tanjore paintings
The theme of International Women\'s Day- 2016 is ‘Pledge for Parity’. The State Gallery of Art is celebrating this special day for women by conducting a workshop on ‘Tanjore Art Painting’ for a week starting from March 1 to 6.

The theme of International Women's Day- 2016 is ‘Pledge for Parity’. The State Gallery of Art is celebrating this special day for women by conducting a workshop on ‘Tanjore Art Painting’ for a week starting from March 1 to 6.
Women who are interested in learning Tanjore art painting can join Dr K Prahlad, an eminent Tanjore painting artist to learn techniques of the art. During the workshop paintings of Dr K Prahlad, will be on display for inspiration and after the workshop the paintings made by the trainees will be put on display for three days in the gallery.
