Farah Khan Ali, is among India's most renowned jewellery designers and gemologists, She recently collaborated with CaratLane, India's leading omni-channel in Hyderabad, for an exclusive jewellery collection line - Ornati. Inspired by the fun-loving, fearless and feminine charm of every youthful heart, Ornati is a work of art by Farah Khan Ali. It is a selection of ornate and adventurous designs, with real connection to the women who inspire them.
About her collection she says, “My collection is for the young women who wants to wear on a daily bases and can create her own statement and be confident.” “The design philosophy of Ornati is about capturing beauty in playful jewellery, making each piece an individual style statement. Each Ornati collection ensures to bring along its unique charm while aligning to the Ornati style," Farah shares.
About her experience in designing her latest collection she says, “It was a new experience which was challenging and very different from what I did previously. It took around 8-9 months to complete this collection.”
“The Ornati collection line includes three types, Pastel Petals, Ayin and Sonnet. Pastel Petals brings earrings, rings and pendants designed with specially crafted sorbet-coloured gemstones, accented with a scatter of diamonds. Ayin takes a modern look into the protective evil eye, which forms the centre piece of the collection.
And Sonnet, takes muse from ballroom elegance, reviving the old-world glamour of Baguette cut diamonds, with rosy reds, graceful greens, breathtaking blues,” shares Farah. Ornati is available exclusively at the CaratLane website and at CaratLane stores across the country. “It was very challenging to come online and making accessible, affordable and forever wearable,” she feels. The collection starts from Rs 8,000.
