Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy on Wednesday asked two-wheeler users to use helmets and avoid accidents. The Transport department should improve online services to reach the people and check illegal movement of private vehicles and violation of norms by other vehicles, he directed.
Hyderabad: Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy on Wednesday asked two-wheeler users to use helmets and avoid accidents. The Transport department should improve online services to reach the people and check illegal movement of private vehicles and violation of norms by other vehicles, he directed.
At a review meeting with the RTA officials here, the Minister discussed on various issues, including strengthening of the department which has to focus on achieving revenue of Rs 20,000 crore from Rs 18,000 crore. Mahender Reddy directed the officials to take steps to prevent accidents by regulating traffic, putting up dividers, speed breakers and use technology and zebra crossing marks for pedestrians.
