A long walk for oral health

More than 200 delegates from across the country joined the students of Panineeya Dental College in the walkathon that began at the premises of the college and ended at the Thakur Hariprasad Institute for Special Children on Thursday.

Flagged off by Dr Akun Sabharwal, Director of Drug Control and a dentist himself, the walk was organised by the Indian Society of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and aims to promote oral health among mother and children.

Present at the Walkathon were Vice-Chairman of the college, GS Kohli, Principal Dr Karunakar, office bearers of the association, Organising Secretary Dr Radhika and her team of Pedopearls.
