  • Exam fee hiked from `250 to `350 for general, BC categories

A decision to this effect was taken during the Common Entrance Test Committee meeting held at the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) here on Thursday. The TSCHE intends to go in for biometric system for conducting exam. However, the decision is yet to be finalised by
the council.

This year, Mancherial has been added to the list of 15 regional centres in the State. Further, the examination fee has been hiked from Rs 250 to Rs 350 for the general and BC category candidates. But for SC and ST candidates the fee is Rs 250. The online registrations would begin from March 1 and conclude on April 5 without late fee.

Candidates can also register with a late fee of Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 till April 16 and 25 respectively. And with the late fee of Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000 if it is May 5 and 16 respectively. The candidates can download hall tickets from April 29.

The examination would be conducted by Kakatiya University on May 19. A preliminary key would be released on May 21 and last date for submission of objections on preliminary key is May 25. The final key and results would be released on May 31.
