Hyderabad: The Telangana Government Junior Lecturers’ Association on Thursday expressed serious concern over the persisting violations in Intermediate education despite the issue being taken to the notice of Special Chief Secretary Ranjeev R Acharya and Commissioner Dr A Ashok. “The violations still not only exist, but persist,” it said.

Association president Mohammad Ismail and general secretary G Kavitha in a statement said, even a week after the violations were brought to the government notice, the authorities have not evinced interest to take any remedial action.

While expressing concern, the leaders said the DEC appointment of A Somi Reddy from the junior lecturer cadre has not been rectified so far. They stated that Reddy has been working as DEC member in Ranga Reddy district for more than four years in ‘violation’ of the rule formulated by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education.
