The dual-SIM Canvas Amaze 4G runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Micromax smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

Sporting an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the Canvas Amaze 4G also sports a 2-megapixel front-facing fixed-focus camera. It bears 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (32GB). Connectivity options include 4G, 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The company says that the Canvas Amaze 4G supports Cat. 4 which allows up to 150Mbps download speed and up to 50Mbps upload speed. The Canvas Amaze 4G is backed by a 2230mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 160 hours of standby time, and up to 7 hours of talk-time. It bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The domestic handset manufacturer earlier this month introduced the 4G-enabled Canvas Juice 4G (Q461) smartphone. The smartphone was listed on the company site without pricing or availability details.
