Dentists encouraged to spread young smiles
A record 850 delegates, dental surgeons and paedontists participated in the two-day 13th Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry Post Graduate Convention that was held at Shilpaka Vedika on Friday.

Hosted by the Panineeya Institute of Dental Sciences, the convetion was themed, ‘Healthy Mother and Smiling Children’ and had eminent speakers enlightening on the topic.
Speaking at the event, Dr Dibyendu Mazumdar President of DCI insisted that child oral health is important for better future of nation, “Paedodontists plays a major role in fulfilling this responsibility,” he said.
Dr Rahul Hegde, Executive Committee member DCI, encouraged and inspired the young paedodontists to shoulder the responsibility to raise oral and general health of the children.
TS Kohli, Chairman, Gurunanak Group of Institutions, Dr Karunakar, Principal Panineeya Institute of Dental Sciences and others were also present.
