Chiranjeevulu, Commissioner of HMDA and Burra Venkatesham, Secretary, Tourism Department distributed prizes to the winners.
The third edition of Hyderabad Kayakathon at Hussain Sagar Lake had some spectacular water fun on Sunday. Jointly hosted by the Yacht Club of Hyderabad in partnership with Telangana Tourism, the event had participation from schools like DPS, DRL and Government schools along with stalwart kayakers from Kotepally that included names like Pradeep, Srinivas and Venkatesh, who stole the show in the professional category of 100 m.
Chiranjeevulu, Commissioner of HMDA and Burra Venkatesham, Secretary, Tourism Department distributed prizes to the winners. Mebboobee, Tejashree and Vasavi of Nanhi Kalis won the under 14 girls trophy after a thrilling tiebreaker against Juhi and team from the Yacht Club.
