The North Zone Police department conducted a Free Health Camp at Mahatma Gandhinagar in West Marredpally recently. The camp was organised in association with Yashoda Hospital and inaugurated by N Prakash Reddy Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North Zone along with J Ramakrishna ward member SCB,

Speaking at the occasion, the DCP N Prakash Reddy said, “People should not be afraid of police. The police always look forward to help the people all the time.” He said that the health camp is part of the social responsibility activity the department has taken up to help the people of the basthi maintain good health.

Umamahshwar Rao SHO, Maredpally said, “Free medicines were distributed and health check up was conducted with consultancy by eminent doctors of Yashoda Hospital and their paramedical staff. There was a good response from the people and we are looking forward to conduct such activities more in the future.”
