After hot air balloon rides, the people of Hyderabad now have a chance to go in for helicopter rides. Rising to 1,500 ft above the ground, Bell 407 helicopters will provide the best of the aerial views of the city as the ‘Joy Ride’ was formally inaugurated at Necklace Road on Tuesday.

With this initiative, people can have spectacular aerial views of the city that covers places like Tank Bund, Birla Mandir, Charminar, Salarjung Museum, Golconda Fort, Falaknuma Palace, Ramoji Film city, Hi-Tech city and the Gachibowli Stadium at just Rs 3,499.
Launching the joy ride, the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K Tarakarama Rao hoped that initiative of the government will be appreciated by the people as the ride comes at an affordable price. Depending on the outcome of this initiative, the government intends to replicate it in places like Nagarjuna Sagar, Warangal, Karimnagar and among other places.
