Ensuring safety in shopping areas
Championing the cause of safety and to prevent crimes in business areas, the Malkajgiri Chemist and Druggist (Medical Shops Association) donated one lakh rupees for the installation of CCTV cameras in Cyberabad limits on Thursday.
Championing the cause of safety and to prevent crimes in business areas, the Malkajgiri Chemist and Druggist (Medical Shops Association) donated one lakh rupees for the installation of CCTV cameras in Cyberabad limits on Thursday.
The cheque was handed over to G Shekar Goud, Station House Officer, Malkajgiri, who said, “The CCTV project will help the police in mapping every inch of the shopping malls and complexes located in busy areas of Malkajgiri to detect and prevent crimes. It will also help in chain snatching cases on the roads and streets.”
The CCTV cameras will also be installed at public places such as of worship, educational institutions, bus stops, hotels and railway stations for which Goud urged people and NGOs to work together for the cause.
