A mesmerising crafts bazaar

An exquisite exhibition-cum-sale of intricately created handicrafts and handlooms housed at Golkonda (Lepakshi) Crafts Bazaar was inaugurated by Home Secretary Anitha Rajendra at NTR Stadium on Friday. Shailaja Ramaiyer graced the occasion by the traditional lighting of the lamp.

Aimed at promoting the workmanship of Telangana, the expo, which will run through till March 13, has a wide collection, including Hyderabad pearls, banjara hand embroidery, Nirmal toys, brass items, saris and dress material from master weavers, lacquer toys, drawing room products and curios among several wonderful creations.
